COMPANY POLICY FOR CONSULTATION SERVICES AND FOR BEFORE AND AFTER SALES SERVICE
Bel Air Finishing Supply ( the company ) will, at its discretion, provide potential customers with services that consist of subjecting their goods to a Vibratory Finishing Process that illustrates surface finishes that may be attained using the company's expertise, processes, equipment and media.
Prospective customers should, in advance, supply the company with samples of the specific finish they wish to attain. The initial sampling and processing will be at no charge. The company reserves the right to retain all information concering the process, equipment and media used until such time as the customer purchases Bel Air's equipment or agrees to compensate the company for its service and technical information.
In instances where the potential customer or the established customer already has vibratory finishing equipment, the company will provide technical and consultative service at the rate of Seventy Five Dollars per hour. Because such services require varying amounts of time, an estimate of cost will be provided by the company, in advance. The customer should provide the company with samples of the specific surface finish desired in advance of any work performed. If the work to be performed by the company is at an operating location beyond the Providence / Warwick, Rhode Island area, the hourly rate will be as above and the customer agrees to defray such additional costs as travel, meals and lodging. The company will provide an estimate of such costs prior to the start of any work.
Upon the sale of its equipment, the company agrees to provide technical and consultation services to the customer for a period of sixty (60) days at No Charge. Such services will be confined to assisting the customer in achieving specific surface finishes agreed to in advance of the sale. Technical or consulting services that begin sixty (60) days after the sale, or to establish a process not originally agreed upon, will be at the rate of Seventy Five Dollars per hour and the customer will pay such additional costs as outined in the preceding paragraph.
