Disc Finisher FMSL 2000P Series

Disc Finisher FMSL 2000P Series

Larger capacity floor models centrifugal disc finishers are available in single, double or triple chamber configurations. Wet or dry processing chambers are to be specified. For precision deburring of all type stamped or machine parts. Excellent for finishing conventional materials such as brass, copper, steel and aluminum as well as alloys such as kovar, inconel, stainless steel, titanium, etc. Centrifugal disc finishing technology enables deburring into grooves and corners that conventional vibratory or tumble deburring is unable to reach. Cycle times are dramatically reduced by up to one tenth of normal deburring cycles. Flat part thicknesses as low as .012 can be processed. Hollow parts with wall thicknesses as low as .003 can be gently deburred or polished. Easy to use, low maintenance. Excellent for the micro electronic industry.

Its strengths are to be found in the industrial field of metal processing as well as in the jewelry industry.
A specially designed interior space of the receptacle makes a fast burring possible combined with a careful treatment of the work piece surface.
The main circulation of the products to be grinded and polished is done in the bottom part of the plate, whereby the wear within the gap area will thus be reduced.
Reduction of the processing times in both the wet and dry area.
Increased in material throughput up to 100 percent without significant enlargement of the receptacle volume in connection with the same expenditure of energy.
A use of finest and highly agressive polishing and grinding mediums is possible.
By means of a permanent air cushion, the AIRCUTEC System prevents that finest granulated particles are penetrated into the gap area, thus maintaining a constantly low temperature within the interior space of the receptacle. There is no additional heat due to friction in the gap area as is the case with other traditional systems.
The Twist and Click Method enables an easy and uncomplicated gap adjustment within the hundredth range without additional tools. Rest periods and costs arising in this connection are drastically reduced.
AIRGRIND System makes a hard and finish grinding into one single operating cycle possible (no more need for a water bath.) The parts are gently treated, thus creating a light surface. Water consumption and processing times are reduced significantly and additional working cycles are avoided.
